I don’t want to talk about politics, but I mean
to talk about alternative rock band Bush, formed in London, active from 1992
until 2002, then disbanded, and reformed in 2010. In this year Bush publish “The
Sea of Memories”, beautiful album promoted by the single “The Sound of Winter”.
The song starts with Gavin Rossdale biting
voice, in an electrifyng crescendo...
"Mind strong
Body strong
Try to find equilibrium
Head straight, screwed on
Been screwed up for too long..."
"Mind strong

Try to find equilibrium
Head straight, screwed on
Been screwed up for too long..."
Their
return to music scene is really important, at least for me, I’ve listened
to their songs since “Everything Zen”, single of 1993, chosen to represent
their debut album “Sixteen Stone, released in early 1994.
The band
has racked up successes in following years with “Swallowed”, single of 1996,
then with “The Chemicals Between Us” from album “The Science of Things” (1999)
and “Letting the Cables Sleep”. This song is sad, but stunning and strong and
the voice of Gavin is unique.
There would
be many things to talk about the band, as well on the solo career of Gavin
Rossdale, but I want to summarize in these few lines what, for me, is the
essence of the band.
Thank you!
Bye!
